I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Ralph and Genevieve Gurr from Student Tours Australia. In January 2018, I was part of the Midnite Youth Theatre Company Tour to the UK and Paris for 18 days. We were led by Ralph and Genevieve every step of the way from start to end. I mean it when I say it, the itinerary was planned to perfection. I would not have changed a single bit of it and it ran 100% to the plan the entire way through. Yes, this tour was very enjoyable because we had the unique opportunity of travelling all around the UK and Paris, but I strongly believe the organisation from Student tours Australia played such a great role. Both Ralph and Genevieve were right on top of it from Day 1. At first, they showed us a rough plan of what they wanted to achieve and then built it into a spectacular plan. They answered our questions before we even thought about them and they were very proactive in updating us on what stages they were up to regarding the planning of the tour. Above all though, what I really loved was that they put that personal touch into it. For them it wasn’t just about organising a tour and sending us on our way. They treated us with so much care and by the end of the tour it felt like we had known them for years. We performed a production across the UK and through this process Ralph and Genevieve gave us so much support! You could see how much they loved watching us performance after performance. Even when we came back to Perth and premiered our show they still came to watch us perform multiple times.

So to anyone who is thinking of organising a tour, I implore you take up the help of Student Tours Australia because I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. They will give you their full efforts and they will be super easy to work with. One thing I learnt on tour was that their philosophy is to provide what you want. If our teachers wanted something to be done or something to be changed, Ralph and Genevieve would be very quick to get it done. It was exceptional! Thank you so much to Student Tours Australia. You have truly left me with an experience that will stay with both me and the rest of the tour group forever. I hope I have the opportunity to work with people of such a high calibre like Ralph and Genevieve in the near future.”

2018 UK Drama Tour

"Dear Genevieve and Ralph,

I would like to extend our appreciation for the wonderful tour of the United States you prepared for Mazenod College. From the first meeting where you introduced yourselves and the concept of the tour, my husband and I were impressed by the high level of organisation and felt extremely comfortable allowing our son, Scott to attend. The itinerary prepared was impressive and had a wonderful balance of activities and sites to keep the boys interested. The tour of the United Nations was a particular highlight for Scott. We especially liked the inclusion of staying at a range of different types of accommodation and using public transport which provides the opportunity of learning invaluable life skills.

Having travelled overseas before, Scott was aware of the time wasted standing in lines to purchase tickets, getting directions, deciding where to eat etc. The first thing he said when he got home was ‘Genevieve was awesome, she had everything so organised’ … Not to go unmentioned, he was very impressed by Ralph’s knowledge and facts of the areas visited.

So thank you again for all the hard work that goes into organising such a trip and for helping provide a wonderful experience which Scott will keep forever.
